We thoroughly enjoyed our quick stay at Monte do Brejinho de Água. The owner greeted us and we were quickly shown to our apartment that was beautifully appointed , equipped and located. Nuno (the owner ) could not have been more helpful especially as we turned up on a very hot day after a 60km cycle ride . The whole property shows such attention to detail and the service by Nuno is like a concierge service . He sourced food and drink for us and looked after us like family . Breakfast was good and we were able to continue our journey the next morning after an excellent nights rest. There are some nice places to be locally like a the fishermans docks at Porto Palafita da Carrasqueira and beaches around Troia and the ferry to Setubal is close if you have a car.
