I absolutely loved this place! Maybe my favorite ever. After biking along the dordogne for 100 miles I was met by Nathalie and Laurent. They are absolutely super hosts. I believe my French took a step up after chatting with them for a while. Excellent recommendation for dinner. Somehow managed to arra,ge for hot air balloons to appear in the sky as we were chatting before dinner. Wonderful homemade breakfast. Room, and the rest of this beautiful house, was decorated in a very cool fashion. I would not only stay again, I'm make it a point to head to France soon JUST to be there!

The location was fantastic .. lovely and quiet right at the side of the river with its gorgeous private swimming pool .The grounds were immaculately kept and the rooms were spotless and included everything you would need.. such as coffee machine /microwave / kettle and fridge . Katrina and Mike were excellent hosts and provided an excellent breakfast with a smile and good advice as to where to visit .. it was lovely to catch up with them every morning and tell them about our travels the day before . They were always genuinely interested. Nothing was too much trouble for them . The best hosts we have ever experienced .

very beautiful and tasteful place to stay and ideally located in Dordogne. Alice is a lovely host and took very good care of us and gave lots of valuable advices. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. We will certainly come back and stay here again!!

Everything was lovely. From meeting the lovely Lorena who gave us a tour of the property and explained everything to the minute we departed everything was perfect. It was very private and quiet. We stayed in the cottage beside the larger building. We did have the use of the kitchen and laundry facilities in the larger building but we did not need them. We had a small kitchen in the cottage which perfectly suited our needs. The fact that there are laundry facilities was very nice. And there is a larger kitchen if you wish to do more cooking. Everything in the cottage was in perfect working order and the layout was very functional. The location next to the castle was wonderful and we were able to walk to restaurants for dinner. The walk up to the castle was challenging at 30C but it was very interesting and you can drive up to the top for parking if you wish. The cottage has a beautiful outdoor patio area where we could have a glass of wine and watch the hot air balloons rising above the valley. It was the most comfortable place that we have stayed on our trip so far. If we are in the area again I would love to stay there .
