Set within 11 km of Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Temple and 14 km of Alappuzha Railway Station in Alleppey, Sunsets and Palm Trees features accommodation with seating area. The location on the river, the fact that there are only 4 rooms and the place is really peaceful, the decoration and the surrounding garden. The staff was discret and really helpful.

Set 700 metres from Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, 4.5 km from Napier Museum and 1 km from Kuthiramalika Palace, RAMAS GARDEN features accommodation situated in Trivandrum. Breakfast was delicious. Location was central but a little difficult to find.

Kerala cottage is set on the seafront in Varkala, a few steps from Odayam Beach and 400 metres from Edava Beach. Kerala Cottages are AMAZING! The location, facilities, hospitality are all beautiful. it is true that it takes a bit of effort to reach the property, about an hours' tuk-tuk/taxi ride from TRV airport - but it's definitely worth the effort! It's in a quiet area, away from the hustle of the 'Cliff Walk', which is about 10 minutes away in a tuk-tuk. The cottages are spacious and SO comfy, clean and beautifully constructed, with a fine attention to comfortable details. The bathroom is huge, with very nice fixtures and great water pressure. The bed is super comfy, nice linens, and you have a nice seating area inside as well as on your private front porch, where you can watch the ocean and sunset! The grounds are well-kept and lush, and the ocean is literally a stones-throw away, with a cute smaller beach directly in front, that feels very private. The breakfast is to order, and really delicious. The restaurant serves regular meals that are also very nice! But the absolute best part is the staff and workers there. A young man named Nevin mans the front desk and tends to everyone staying there in the most personal and professional manner. He seems to always be available, and eager to help, or share information...always aware, but never intrusive in the least! For a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience, Kerala Cottages is the BEST! I was SO sad to leave, and hope to visit again soon! A+++ experience!!

Set within 200 metres of Alleppey Beach and 2.6 km of Thumpoly Beach, Neela Waters - Beach Home provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Alleppey. We booked 2 rooms and they were both well appointed and clean. We needed logistical help arriving and departing, and the owners personally helped with their local knowledge. We are grateful to our hosts and have already booked another stay!

Landy Queen is set in Munnar, 1.9 km from Munnar Tea Museum, 10 km from Mattupetty Dam, as well as 17 km from Anamudi Peak. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a 24-hour front desk.... This was our favourite hotel we stayed in India. The location is excellent, the hotel is modern, and the rooms are very clean. The best part for us was the staff. They helped us book some really fun local tours. When I fell sick, they went into town to buy some supplies for me. They really go above and beyond!!

La Lune Fort Kochi is situated in the Fort Kochi district of Cochin, and is 200 metres from Kochi Biennale. Eleven nights in heaven. I came for 8 nights and stopped 11 my little heaven. Rooms are large and spotlessly clean.From the start Joseph and his wife are not just your hosts but your friends. Breakfast choice is different every morning with lovely fresh organic eggs and fresh prepared fruit juice. Also a different south indian Breakfast every morning. I 100% recommend La Lune and wouldn't hesitate going back. Thank you Joseph for a wonderful time.

Located within 4.3 km of Kollam Railway Station and 4.9 km of Thangassery Light House in Kollam, Ashtamudi Villas provides accommodation with seating area. This is a very travellers friendly hotel. It's right by the lake and has a lovely green garden full of palm trees and other greenery. Hammocks between the trees and also a canoe. All the rooms have a private terrace with table and chairs. Large and spotless clean room with an excellent bathroom. Friendly English speaking staff. Excellent WiFi, coffee and tea sold by the pot, and cold ones in the fridge. Can't get much better than that. They arrange tours to Monroe Island as well. The hotel is far from town, but you can get there with a local bus for just 10 RP, either from the main road just up from the bus station, or from the school junction where you can jump off your incoming bus if you are coming from the north. Best place to stay as the town centre has completely lost all its travellers atmosphere.
